About this deal

Supports “up to 120kg” of weight is an almost meaningless statement; what it’s really saying in literal terms is that it will definitely not support 121kg of weight or above, but it is not saying how close to 120kg of weight it will most definitely support, nor for how long. It's great for DIY projects that require a strong attachment, without the use of traditional mechanical attachments, such as nails and screws. It's generally safe and easy to use (like most adhesives), and has incredibly high bond strength. One reviewer said: For technical support. Dear Sir/Madam We are having new double glazing installed and have a problem. Our old windows opened from hinges in the middle, therefore roller blinds could be fixed from the ceiling immediately over the blinds. This type of double glazed unit is no longer made and the windows now open inwards. This means the blinds would have to be fitted to the top of the frame and using screws would make the guarantee nul and void. Do you make and adhesive tape that would hold the weight of a roller blind? None of the windows are more than.a meter deep if that. Your telephonist suggested I e mailed technical support directly as you are often difficult to get through to. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in anticipation - Pauline

When you've finished gluing, take a playing card, fold it slightly and scrape it along the edges of the glued object and surface to scrape up any leftover glue. It's the best way to get away all of the residues! Quite easy, really. How much do I need? But what if you’ve read this far and the tape option still seems to be on the table in terms of weights and surface areas, and the fact that UniBond said you could..? Can you put up a blind with No More Nails On A Roll and use it as normal? Ok, but can you put up a blind with No More Nails On A Roll? Again, this is a no from me in my opinion as a Blinds Person ( blinds person not blind person, though my idea of what constitutes nice shoes might make you wonder).

Also. No More Nails On A Roll “can support up to 120kg per roll.” Why am I repeating this? Because up to, and because per roll.

So really for my money then and erring on the side of caution, can you put up a blind with No More Nails On A Roll and use it as normal? The party line of English Blinds is that we do not recommend using anything other than screws to hang blinds. The UniBond No More Nails range is perfect for any homeowner who wants to hang pictures without the hassle. The product you choose depends on the weight of the picture or frame, and how permanent the bond needs to be.This innovative technology makes Nano Tape waterproof, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional adhesives, as it can be easily removed and reused for different projects. With its versatility in application, Nano Tape is suitable for various DIY projects, including home décor, crafting, and organisation. Advantages of Nano Tape over Traditional Tape Porous materials are materials that let liquids and/or gases pass through them – either partially or totally (e.g. wood, fiber glass, cork…).
